Forge, LLC was formed in 2010 by group of students at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management with the intent of developing simple solutions for everyday problems. We recognized an opportunity to reduce the spread of germs and diseases through door handles and reduce excess paper towel waste created by individuals using them to open restroom doors. In January 2011, we launched our first product, the Toepener™, and have since received an immense amount of interest in the idea.
